YOU MAY BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

  • Have a diagnosis of Graves' disease
  • Male and Female participants 18 to 70 years of age.

Graves' disease is an autoimmune disorder that causes the immune system to attack the thyroid gland, making it produce too much thyroid hormone. This can speed up the body's functions and cause symptoms like a fast heartbeat, weight loss, shaking, sweating, and feeling anxious. It can be treated with medicine, radioactive iodine, or surgery.
