YOU MAY BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

  • Are 18 to 75 years of age
  • Diagnosis of Hypercholesterolemia
High levels of both triglycerides and remnant cholesterol are associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular disease. Remnant cholesterol refers to the cholesterol carried in triglyceride-rich lipoproteins, which are particles that transport triglycerides in the blood. Elevated levels of these particles, marked by high triglycerides, are linked to a greater risk of atherosclerosis (plaque buildup in arteries) and cardiovascular events.
